Hello frenns! It's been a long time since I posted any sort of update; I've just finished gradschool and its been a hectic semester. Since I can finally focus on this project again, some updates I wanted to share with you guys.

AU/NZ backers: SHIPMENT INFO NEEDED!!

I got notice that shipments to AU/NZ are back to regular shipments, and I can start sending out your orders. What I need from you guys is an update to your address, so please send me a kickstarter DM stating your address (regardless if it changed or not) and I will get your orders processed this week. I know its been such a crazy delay, so feel free to message me if you don't want your order anymore, and we can work out a solution.

Shop is going back live!

I've gotten a couple of inquiries if I will be selling the jackets again, and the answer is yes! - to an extent. I do have extra jackets from the kickstarter that I do intend to sell off, and plan on opening back up the store front next week after getting a little more prep work done. After what I currently have is sold, that will be it!

This project has been crazy start to finish, and is something I am so happy I decided to try out. That being said, since I am starting work soon, I don't know if ill have time to commit to a project like this again (I barely did with school) and most likely won't be restocking the jackets after the extras from kickstarter are sold.

 💖💖 WHAT A CRAZY RIDE OH MY GOD 💖💖 

I was terrified since the beginning at the sheer number of orders, and especially with how long it took me to do early birds; I really thought I wasn't going to finish until well into next year >_< But as the title of this update says, all orders (YES, ALL) are completed!! 547 orders, 926 Jackets and a slew of add-ons later, everything is finally heat pressed, packaged and shipped c:

Thank you guys for all the support and being on this journey with me 💖 There was so much I learned about how much work I can handle (spoiler, not that much that fast on my own) and definitely was a bit too optimistic with my original goals; definitely taking notes and moving forward. Other things include finding bottlenecks and how to coordinate people for helping out (shout out to my boyfriend that helped me every night for the past two weeks, my bestfriend who drove in from out of town to help me with my orders, and friends still in the city that had time and decided to help this mentally struggling college student, bless their hearts!) If I ever do another crazy creative project, I have some experience in my back pocket I can refer back to!! One thing though, I was so absorbed in school and trying to get orders out asap that I wasn't able to create as many videos that I wanted to taking you guys on the journey with me. It's been a toughie, but everything did work out in the end c:

For anyone reading this that wanted to support and couldn't because timing, I do have extra jackets that I plan on selling off! My artshop stuff will likely open back up in january after the holidays, and will post the link on socials once I have that all figured out 💖

Logistic notes

• Any issues with orders or missing tracking info, the best way to reach me is kickstarter DM since I get immediate notification; I haven't been using social media as much. Backerkit has been a tad wonky with emails as well, so I'm happy to rectify these!
•  Australia/New Zealand backers: Your orders are on standby if you chose to wait for shipping restrictions. You may change your mind at anytime, just kickstarter DM me what you would like to do.
•  There are 15 people who still haven't filled out the backerkit survey, and one person that has a declined card and I can't fulfill any of these orders 😭😭 please please do that, I cannot guarantee and hold the jacket design you want once I start selling off the extra jackets in January!!!

Hello hello!

I hope you guys had a great thanksgiving holiday and are gearing up for christmas season! Just a quick update in regards to shipment processes and where things are at now.

Early birds - DONE!

As the headline states, I've gotten through each early bird pledge and am now roughly halfway through fulfillment! I know it's been a long arduous process with waiting due to supply chain and fulfillment, so thank you again for being patient! Packages in the early bird sections should be all sent out and are currently getting processed by the post office. Here's a quick snapshot of me dropping this final shipment out; I felt so embarrassed dropping so many off on their scan counter ^^;

(the only early birds not done are the australian/new zealand backers who opted to wait for the mail suspension to be lifted)

Pledges - Tracking Numbers Sent

Before packing and sending out the early birds and backtracking to the thanksgiving holiday, I preprocessed all regular kick starter pledges (things like the complimentary prints/stickers and any add-ons you as backers decided to add) and have that squared away for fulfillment. What that means for you is that a tracking number and label has been made for each regular kick starter pledge and your tracking number should have been sent in a backerkit email. I know there are known issues when it comes to backerkit and email retrieval, and I found myself with missing tracking numbers for a select few backers, so feel free to reach out for your number if you don't have it!

Please note that current tracking numbers will state that USPS is awaiting item!!! USPS IS NOT WITHHOLDING YOUR PACKAGE!! 

I had a talk with the USPS representatives since the packing slip dates state that the label was printed much earlier than when I actually am able to drop them off at the office, so thank you for understanding that I still currently am in possession of your package (since I still need to pack them.) I will periodically send out packages as I fulfill orders, and will post updates here when I finish a pledge tier.

Preorders, your packing slips have not been made yet, so you will not receive a tracking number email until I am closer to finishing kickstarter pledges. 

I just finished up my last final today and will be able to dedicate so much more time now for fulfillment (just today I was able to package 100 jackets!!) Definitely this entire process has been so challenging in so many ways I didn't imagine, and some lessons for future me if I decide to pursue a project like this again in the future.

❗❗ AUSTRAILIAN BACKERS ACTION NEEDED ❗❗ Early Bird Besto Friendo's Sent!

Hello again friends! As usual, fulfillment is a tad slow but gears are turning, and the Early Bird Besto Friendo Tiers were dropped off at the post office. Hopefully, you have gotten an email regarding tracking numbers for your packages if you are in this pledge tier. If you are in this pledge tier and did not receive your email tracking, message me on kickstarter and I will be happy to send it manually to you! I'm working on early bird - big three orders tonight and heading back for thanksgivings with family tomorrow, and will be able to resume orders once I get back on sunday.

❗❗Action Needed for Australian and New Zealand Backers❗❗

Currently with Covid, Australia has suspended all postal services except for express mail since September. I had originally planned on shipping packages with the First Class option, which is more budget friendly and what shipping rates were based off of. Since First Class is no longer an option and even Priority is also not an option, I was thinking about what would be the best course of action; should I cancel orders? Upcharge backers? Wait for the suspension? Ultimately, I thought to let you the backer decided.

What you need to do:

Message me on kickstarter which of three options you would like to take:

•  Wait for the suspension to be lifted. Your order will be placed on hold and will be shipped out when First Class Mail to Austrailia is allowed again. Sadly, there is no date set for when this would occur.
• Cancel your order. I understand if you wanted your jacket within a timeframe, and will honor a refund on both kickstarter and backerkit.
• Pay the upcharge. Since everyone's orders is different, message me for how much the extra charge will be. Feel free to message me about this to gauge which option you would like to pick. Comparatively, 1 jacket originally was ~25 USD shipping, and now its ~75 USD with express mail.

I'm so sorry that the post office is being so particular with their mail, and understand whichever option you decide to pick!

I don't know how to say thank you guys so much for being patient with all this! Right now it's a one man army putting together all these jackets, but I finally have all early bird spirit core jackets packaged and ready to ship! It seems I'm a bit too optimistic with a timeline since this is my first time doing anything like this at such a large scale, while also juggling school (turns out I need to stay an extra semester, so it's taken a bit of time to get that sorted out). I really thought I could press and package 1000 jackets in one week while also packing different add ons ;-;

With the early bird spirit core tier finished, I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I can get jackets out a lot faster since getting everything set took a lot more time than I would've liked to admit. It's scary to say a time, but latest the early bird besto friendo tier should roll out is some time next week; if delays happen, I'll be sure to communicate them!

A lot of lessons learned when doing a project like this, especially when it comes to overestimating how many jackets a single person can press and package.

With many burned fingers and a sense of relief that pledges are now in the hands of the post office,
